Privacy Policy

SupaFAX is designed to work without an account. We collect only what is necessary to transmit your fax and process your payment.

Fax content: Documents you scan or upload are transmitted to the recipient's fax number via our carrier partner (Telnyx). We do not permanently store your document content after successful delivery.

Fax metadata: We retain a record of the destination fax number, transmission timestamp, page count, and delivery status so we can provide you with a confirmation receipt.

Payment information: Payments of $1.99 per fax are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never receive or store your full card number, expiry, or CVV — those details are handled entirely by Apple or Google.

Device information: We collect basic device identifiers (model, OS version, app version) to diagnose technical issues and improve app stability.

Usage analytics: We may collect anonymized, aggregated analytics (screens viewed, features used) to understand how people use the app. This data cannot identify you personally.

We use the information collected solely to:

• Transmit your fax to the recipient number you provide

• Confirm successful delivery and provide your receipt

• Process and verify your payment through the relevant app store

• Respond to support requests you initiate

• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the service

• Improve app performance and fix bugs

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to any third party for marketing purposes.

Telnyx LLC provides fax transmission infrastructure. When you send a fax, your document and destination number are transmitted to Telnyx to complete the send. Telnyx's privacy policy governs how they handle this data.

Apple Inc. / Google LLC process in-app purchases on iOS and Android respectively. Their respective privacy policies and payment terms apply to all transactions.

These third parties are contractually bound to use your data only to provide services to us and are prohibited from using it for their own independent purposes.

Fax document content is purged from our systems after confirmed delivery or after 24 hours, whichever comes first. We do not operate a fax archive or cloud storage service.

Transmission metadata (destination number, timestamp, delivery status) is retained for up to 90 days to support receipt lookups and dispute resolution.

Payment records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations.

All fax transmissions use TLS encryption in transit. We follow industry-standard security practices including encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews.

While SupaFAX uses HIPAA-grade transmission standards, we are not a HIPAA Business Associate and do not execute Business Associate Agreements. If your use case requires a signed BAA, please contact us before using the service.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Since SupaFAX requires no account, most usage data is not linked to an identifiable individual.

If you have submitted a support request or otherwise provided your email address, you may request deletion by contacting us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents: SupaFAX does not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.

EU/UK residents: SupaFAX processes minimal personal data. Our lawful basis is the performance of a contract (transmitting the fax you paid for).

SupaFAX is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the app. Continued use of SupaFAX after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
